Friday 21st was a night to remember as 90 people showed their support and had fun at our inaugural Extended Families Fund Raising Dinner and Time and Talent fundraising auction. Melbourne comedian Gabriel Rossi kept us entertained and on track, guests bid generously (and also got some great items and bargains) and all ages were seen on the dance floor moving to the fine music of the band, Rudely Interrupted.

We will add some photos and information on funds raised as they become available, so check back again shortly.  We will also update information on all our auction and event donors.

It is never too early to plan, think about what you can share at the next auction event in 2012.

So what is a Time and Talent Auction? 
This is a concept where people can donate their skills and expertise or services for people to bid on. Some examples of what has been donated so far are two, one week stays in a luxury townhouse on the Mornington Peninsula, a commissioned piece of modern artwork by a talented artist, and a creative writing workshop by a published Author.

What will the funds raised support?
Funds raised are vital to help us to implement and expand our services for children with disabilities and their families as we strive to meet the growing demand for our programs across metropolitan Melbourne.
