Extended Families appreciates the generosity of the following individuals, companies and philanthropic trusts who enable us to continue supporting children with disabilities and their families:

 
PORTLAND HOUSE GROUP
The Portland House Group is a major supporter and valued partner of Extended Families.  For 4 years Portland House has enabled Extended Families to more effectively engage in volunteer recruitment and to increase services in each region. This generous support now enables support to an additional ten families
(2 in each region) and has provided a specialised recruitment capacity through employment of a volunteer recruitment worker, along with necessary marketing resources.  As Extended Families long standing volunteers age, this support has been vital for continued services.


THE LORD MAYORS FUND
   
The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund has supported Melbourne’s hospitals and charitable organizations since 1923 to improve the quality of life of the Melbourne community.  The Fund is a Melbourne United Way representative, and currently provides financial assistance to over 200 charities, distributing 100 per cent of yearly donations received. 

The Fund has supported Extended Families for 5 years and enables us to recruit and train volunteers (expanding the volunteer recruitment position) and to overcome barriers to volunteering.  An emergency fund enables Extended Families to resource volunteer matches with families and enable support that would otherwise not be possible.   

Extended Families is proud to help fulfil the Funds mission to create lasting positive change in people’s lives and the community.


THE PANEL CHRISTMAS WRAP
Over the past few years The Panel Christmas Wrap, catalysed and connected by Pilotlight Australia, has supported us in various ways, most recently with the development of our website.  
EFA thanks The Panel and Pilotlight Australia who have helped Extended Families in areas of high need.

For the second year running, Mitchell Wilson Accountants have provided quality financial auditing for Extended Families. The pro bono support is greatly appreciated.


VODAFONE FOUNDATION
Vodafone have in the past provided support for Extended Families' Family Fun Day, a wonderful event that brings families, volunteers and supporters together for a fun and friendship, often at the Melbourne Zoo. 

 
THE R.E. ROSS TRUST

 
In 2005 the very worthwhile “Recruit a Grandparent Project” was carried out with the generous and significant support of the R. E. Ross Trust. 
 

WILLIAM BUCKLAND FOUNDATION

The William Buckland Foundation (ANZ Trustees) provided resources to engage an independent evaluator for the “Recruit a Grandparent Project”; adding further value to the project.
